| My, father (rt), Ernest D. Murray who died on 12/4/2005. The picture the Silver Star. He was placed in consideration for the Congressional Medal of Honor but forgotten after his second war injury and purple heart. My dad came home a different man harmed by the war as many vet's have been. He may have not been the best father, but I love and respect him for his role in my life. He was a woods warrior on his return, a gift and knowledge he shared with me and the love of the deep Maine woods is his legacy and gift from him. God bless our warriors! |
